Play gently, stop easily

Why free games are still for over-18s

Social casino games share the appearance, sounds and rhythm of real gambling, which is why Acacia Sundowner is meant solely for adults above the legal gambling age and is aimed at no one under 18. We confirm age on two occasions: first at the banner that welcomes you, and again by a tick when you open an account.

Our firm promises

• Offer or promote real-money gambling.
• Offer prizes of real-world value.
• Put coins up for sale or introduce in-app purchases.
• Carry links to gambling operators or their affiliates.
• Rely on countdowns or streaks to push you to return.

A frank caution

Free games can be built to feel generous, and they refill your balance without charge; real-money games do neither. How you fare here is no guide to how you would fare with money on the line.

Tracks worth noticing

• Staying far longer than you intended.
• Feeling irritable when you stop.
• Playing to escape a mood.
• Play is taking time away from sleep, work or the people around you.
• You start searching for a version played for real money.

Ways to stay in control

• Settle on a length of play before you begin.
• Leave autoplay off.
• Take regular breaks.
• For a fresh start, clearing this site’s data resets everything; to stop permanently, block the site through your device settings.
